Exports & Import Logistics
Planning - Planning of shipments as per Customer’s Order schedule
Negotiation with shipping lines / freight forwarders and transporters for rate contracts /
competitive quotes.
Coordination - Coordination between site, forwarders, transporters and service providers for timely stuffing of consignments.
Documentation - Preparation and verification of documents as per FTP, excise rules and regulations following total compliance.
Monitoring - Monitoring of the complete export cycle starting from customer order receipt to payment realisation documentation and benefit claims
Export benefit - Identify all the benefits granted for the export product and claim the same within specified time from DGFT and Customs.
Fulfill all licence obligations and redemption within allotted time.
Liaison - Liaison with Customs, DGFT and Excise authorities for effective documentation and productive outcome.
Management of ISO Tank Logistics and other SOT’s
Schedule import parcels based on vessel sailings and our ideal inventory cycle
Monitor charges levied by Carriers and Agents to avoid unwarranted expenses
Negotiate for clearance charges based on type of BOE filed
Appoint and monitor transport and other logistics services meeting Company’s requirement and meeting safety compliance
Read, understand and interpret Trade Notifications to implement and avoid mistakes
Gather information on global trend and industry to be abreast with changes
Education - Graduate in Science or Commerce. Post Graduate in Logistics & SCM preferred
Experience - 15 years in EXIM logistics of Chemical manufacturing company OR leading freight forwarding company. Liasoning with Govt agencies is a must.
